At New Odyssey for Children we provide each child with meals that comply with the USDA nutritional guidelines and we offer a nutritional meal to every child. We serve a morning super snack/breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.
During lunch times, our teachers eat with the children in a family style dining setting where the children learn to serve themselves.
Due to common allergies, Our facility is peanut and tree nut free. In addition, an updated allergy sheet is posted in each classroom and in our kitchen with all allergies listed. Our meals are planned and prepared accordingly. We have planned menus available each week at the front desk.
In any event of allergies or cultural issues, our kitchen will separately prepare a substitution for the child. We also prohibit outside food from other children to ensure that our allergy policy is properly managed. Our management will work with you, with your doctor’s input, to develop an allergy action plan in the event of an emergency. You would need to supply any medication needed for us to keep in our facility in case of an allergic reaction.
